Dear Lord,
I may not see the sun and moon lose their light.I may not witness rivers turn red, or stars fall from the sky.Yet there are times when my world becomes unhingedand the foundations of what I believe crack and dissolve.Give me the grace to believe that Your power is at workin the turmoil of my life.Lead me to remember that Your power is greater than all evil, and though the world may rock and sometimes break,it will in time be transformed by Your Love.

"Sanskrit salutation to the Dawn."
Listen to the salutation to the dawn, Look to this day for it is life, the very life of life; in its brief course lie all the verities and realities of our existence. The bliss of growth, the splendor of beauty, for yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow is only a vision, but today well spent makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well therefore to this day. Such is the salutation to the dawn."

Oh Great White Light Spirit,

Whose voice I hear in the wind, whose breath giving life is for all in the world and creation.
I come before you, one of your many children out of so many lifetimes.
I am with misunderstanding and sometimes weak of heart.
I need your wisdom, your strength, and your knowledge.
Let me walk in your beauty with understanding in my heart.
Make my eyes ever behold your red, orange, gold, and purple sunsets.
Make my hands respect the things you have made, make ears sharp to hear your voice, let me speak with wisdom with your voice from within.
Teach me the things you have taught others, the lessons hidden in a rock or in a leaf.
I need your strength of divine love and not to be superior to my fellow man or to nature, but to be able to fight my greatest enemy, myself.

Let me come to you with straight open eyes and a clean, clear, heart, body, mind and soul spirit for when my life fades as the fading sunsets each day my spirit may come to you without shame.
